Time does not Exist est un album ambient en deux volets, traversé par les mêmes doutes nés d’un progrès devenu indéchiffrable.
La première partie, Memory, convoque les fantômes d’un passé idéalisé : celui de l’Amérique des années 50 avec ses voix radiophoniques. Sous les promesses d’un avenir radieux, c’est un monde au bord du gouffre qui transparait : paranoïa nucléaire, propagande technologique, foi aveugle dans la machine et dans un progrès sans fin.
Les archives, entremêlées dans les textures issues du synthétiseur modulaire, résonnent comme les échos d’une transmission captée depuis une époque qui croyait encore au futur.
La seconde partie, Imagination, regarde quant à elle vers un avenir lointain vidé de toute présence humaine. L’utopie s’est dissoute dans le vide intersidéral et il ne reste que des machines et une vague trace de civilisations disparues.
Time does not Exist est un album suspendu entre deux univers : celui que nous laissons derrière nous, et celui qui, peut-être, nous attend.
Time Does Not Exist is a two-part ambient album, shaped by the same doubts born from a kind of progress that has become impossible to decipher.
The first part, Memory, summons the ghosts of an idealized past: 1950s America and the voices of its radio broadcasts. Beneath the promises of a brighter future, a world on the brink begins to emerge: nuclear paranoia, technological propaganda, and a blind faith in machines and in endless progress.
The archival recordings, woven into textures created with a modular synthesizer, resonate like the echoes of a transmission captured from an era that still believed in the future.
The second part, Imagination, turns instead toward a distant future emptied of all human presence. The utopia has dissolved into interstellar emptiness, leaving behind only machines and the faint trace of vanished civilizations.
Time Does Not Exist is an album suspended between two worlds : the one we are leaving behind, and the one that, perhaps, awaits us.
