Almost Random est né d'une collaboration musicale avec The Oxide Project pour l'enregistrement du morceau Opportunity en 2023.
En utilisant majoritairement un synthétiseur modulaire Eurorack, des techniques génératives analogiques (machines de Turing, Sample&Holds,Comparateurs...), et un panel limité d'effets VST, le projet Almost Random travaille sur des sonorités éphémères, des mélodies pseudo-aléatoires et des harmonies impossibles à reproduire à l'identique.
Au cours du processus, chaque enregistrement est unique, chaque paysage sonore se transforme en permanence, définitivement.
C'est de cette matière sonore brute, imparfaite et capricieuse que naissent les univers présentés ici.
Après un premier EP autoproduit en 2025 (Time does not exist), un second album inspiré des nouvelles de HP Lovecraft est proposé sur le label Cyclical Dreams à l'été 2026.

Almost Random was born from a musical collaboration with The Oxide Project during the recording of the track Opportunity in 2023.
Using primarily a Eurorack modular synthesizer, analog generative techniques (Turing machines, sample & holds, comparators...), and a limited selection of VST effects, the Almost Random project explores ephemeral sounds, pseudo-random melodies, and harmonies that cannot be reproduced exactly. Throughout the process, every recording is unique, every soundscape transforms continuously, forever.
It is from this raw, imperfect, and unpredictable sonic material that the worlds presented here are born.
After a first self-produced EP in 2025 (Time Does Not Exist), a second album inspired by the stories of H. P. Lovecraft was released on the Cyclical Dreams label in the summer of 2026.
